Easy Indoor Grilled Chicken

  • Author: Heather Love
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Juicy, flavorful indoor grilled chicken made on a stovetop grill pan. Quick, healthy, and perfect for meal prep, weeknight dinners, or adding to salads, wraps, and bowls.

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lb)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp Oryx Desert BBQ Salt (or your favorite BBQ seasoning)
Optional herbs/spices:
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp dried thyme or rosemary

Instructions

Prep the chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.

Season:
In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, BBQ seasoning, and any extra herbs/spices.
Rub chicken all over with olive oil, then sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly on both sides.

Heat the grill skillet:
Place your grill skillet on high heat over your gas stove. Let it get hot — this helps get those nice grill marks.

Cook: Place chicken in the hot skillet.
Cook 5–7 minutes without moving.
Flip and cook 5–7 minutes more until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and juices run clear.

Rest:
Transfer to a plate and let rest 5 minutes before slicing. This keeps the chicken juicy.
