Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks grass-fed butter, softened

  • ¾ cup coconut sugar

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 2 eggs

  • 3 cups organic all purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • ¾–1 tsp fine sea salt

  • 1½–2 cups chocolate chips

  • Optional: chopped walnuts or pecans


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F

  • Whisk dry ingredients together.

  • Cream butter + sugars until smooth and slightly fluffy (30–45 sec).

  • Beat in eggs and vanilla (about 1 minute).

  • Mix in dry ingredients just until combined.

  • Fold in chocolate chips.

  • Chill 20–30 minutes (optional but improves texture).

  • Scoop 2–3 tbsp dough, bake 8–10 minutes until edges are set and centers look slightly underdone.

  • Cool on pan 5 minutes, then transfer.
