Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate chip cookies without the guilt.

I truly believe it’s possible to have the best of both worlds. These chocolate chip cookies are made with high-quality ingredients, yet they’re soft, tender, and melt in your mouth with every bite. The recipe is simple enough to make alongside your kids—and just engaging enough to keep them happily occupied (and quietly snacking) for a little while too.
One of my greatest hopes is to create sweet, lasting memories with my children in the kitchen. They light up as they measure the ingredients, watch the KitchenAid bring everything together, and carefully place scoops of dough onto the baking sheet. And yes—sampling the cookie dough is always part of the experience.
Are there health benefits to these cookies? I genuinely believe there are. When made with nourishing ingredients, they become more than just a treat—they also become a part of a slower, sweeter rhythm of home and family life.
Health Benefits:
From a holistic nutrition perspective, the ingredients we choose matter, even in something as simple as a cookie. I love using grass-fed butter for its richness and its natural fat-soluble vitamins, which support hormone health and help the body absorb nutrients more efficiently. Coconut sugar is another favorite—it’s less refined than conventional sugar and contains trace minerals, giving it a lower glycemic impact and a gentler effect on blood sugar for many people. When thoughtfully chosen ingredients come together, even a sweet treat can feel more nourishing and aligned with the way I want to feed my family.

To make:
Preheat oven to 375°F
Whisk dry ingredients together.
Cream butter + sugars until smooth and slightly fluffy (30–45 sec).
Beat in eggs and vanilla (about 1 minute).
Mix in dry ingredients just until combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Chill 20–30 minutes (optional but improves texture).
Scoop 2–3 tbsp dough, bake 8–10 minutes until edges are set and centers look slightly underdone.
Cool on pan 5 minutes, then transfer.
Enjoy!
