Ingredients

1–2 lbs skirt, flank, or flat iron steak

16 oz salsa

2 cans black beans (or about 3 cups cooked beans)

1 bell pepper, chopped

1 onion, chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp cumin
-
¼ tsp paprika

2 tsp chili powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: cooked rice, for serving
Instructions

Place all ingredients except the rice into your crockpot.

Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 2–4 hours, until the steak is tender and flavorful.

Once done, slice the steak thinly and stir it back into the sauce and beans.

Serve over a bed of warm cooked rice — and enjoy!
