Easy Kids Strawberry Smoothie
f you’re like me, you’re always looking for ways to sneak extra nutrients into your kids’ diet. Smoothies are my go-to—easy, tasty, and basically a magic nutrient delivery system. My kids love a simple strawberry smoothie, and I love finding ways to add a little extra without them noticing. After some experimenting, we landed on this easy kids strawberry smoothie that we both approve of.

The base is simple:
- 1 banana
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- ½ cup kefir (or yogurt)
- 1 cup filtered water
The sneaky add-ins:
- 1 liver capsule, opened
- 1 tsp camu camu powder
- Optional: a small chunk of ginger
The best part? The kids can’t taste the “extras,” so it’s a total win-win!

Health Benefits of This Smoothie
Liver – A nutrient powerhouse! Packed with bioavailable vitamin A and B vitamins, liver supports eye and brain health, energy, detoxification, and immune function. It’s basically a natural multivitamin in a capsule.
Camu Camu – This berry has more vitamin C than almost any other food on the planet! It supports a strong immune system, provides antioxidant protection, helps mood regulation (vitamin C is key for serotonin production), and has anti-inflammatory benefits for the heart, eyes, and teeth.
Kefir – This fermented milk is loaded with probiotics to strengthen the gut microbiome and, in turn, the immune system. It’s also rich in calcium and vitamin D for strong bones, while magnesium helps calm the nervous system.
Ginger – A natural anti-inflammatory that supports digestion, nerve and heart health, and can even reduce mild pain and discomfort. Just a small amount adds a gentle zing.

How to Make It
- Put all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste—if you want it a little sweeter, add a splash of milk or a tiny drizzle of honey (for kids over 1 year).
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
