The Best Homemade Hot Salsa
I’m serious, this is the best homemade hot salsa. It is incredibly addicting, even when my mouth starts to burn, I keep eating! It is fresh and spicy, but not overly spicy! You can definitely get in multiple chips before having to slow down because of the heat.

This salsa contains a blend of jalapenos, habanero, garlic, cilantro and tomatoes to give it the perfect spicy bite. Eat this salsa with tortilla chips which is my personal favorite way or add this salsa to tacos, eggs, or whatever your heart desires! This salsa is also delicious on these homemade breakfast tacos!

Health Benefits:
Salsa is a health food! Peppers are loaded with antioxidants which help fight free radicals within the body. Because of the capsaicin peppers help with improved blood cirulation and which helps with pain relief and a healthier body because of the increased blood flow. Cilantro is one of my favorite herbs because it naturally chelates heavy metals from the body, safely removing them from causing harm!
Tomatoes are also a high-antioxidant food and rich in lycopene which strengthens the immune system and lowers cancer risks.
Garlic-the number ONE food that fights cancers when consumed in raw form according to new studies.
Cumin-fights inflammation, rich in antioxidants, contains anti-cancer properties and fights bacteria/parasites to name a few benefits of this powerful herb.
Jalapenos-contains a compound called capsaicin which aids in weight loss, cancer fighting, improve heart health, and slow the growth of bacteria and yeasts.

- half bunch cilantro
- 28 oz can chopped tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 pinches of salt + more to taste
- large pinch of cumin
- 4 jalapenos, deveined
- 1 habanero
Instructions
Blend all your ingredients in a high powered blender. Store in a jar in your fridge!
