If you enjoy tropical beaches and smoothies then you will love this tropical green protein smoothie!

Okay, so it can’t transport you to the beach, but there’s something about these flavors that make you feel like you’re there for a moment, you know? That’s the feelings this tropical green protein smoothie gives me!

What also makes this green smoothie so wonderful is that while it tates sweet from the mango it is also well balanced by the protein powder and spinach, keeping your blood sugar levels stable and your body satiated and full. It’s the perfect blend! My kids also love the taste of this smoothie and it’s always nice to sneak that spinach in for an added nutrient boost for picky kids!

Health Benefits:

Mangoes: Mangoes are rich in enzymes which help your body break down proteins and nutrients while aiding in digestion. It’s never fun to know you’re ingesting nutrients but not always absorbing them, enzymes help this issue! Mangoes also improve cholesterol levels, keep skin clear and strengthen the eyes and the immune system. Seems like a well rounded fruit with impressive benefits!

To Make:

Simply add all your ingredients to a high powdered blend and mix! Have fun with your favorite toppings, it’s especially great with coconut flakes for an extra tropical boost.

I tend to prefer this smoothie in the hot summer months when the beach is calling but no where near in the middle of Texas and the heat! This green smoothie is great as a quick mom breakfast or an afternoon pick me up for everyone. I hope you’ll try it and let me know how it turned out for you in the comments below!
