Our family is exposed to quite a bit of germs. Between having 2 active little ones and my personality (which does not like to sit at home all day long) we are often around sicknesses. I used to be that overprotective mom who tried to protect my children from all that this world can give them. Toxins, hardship, hurts…I was only hurting myself and them! I’m glad I learned the lesson early that I can’t always protect them. HOWEVER, I CAN strengthen them for what life throws at them! That makes me feel empowered! Bring it! Okay, maybe I go too far, but strengthening the immune system is a great way to be on guard and ready to tackle all the sicknesses that may come your way. My kids and myself are not invincible, that would be nice! They still get sick, but not as often, and when they do, it doesn’t stay around as long. These simple tips below are ways we stay strong and I know they will be effective for you as well!
