Want to take your homemade spaghetti to the next level? Try this easy spaghetti sauce.
The fresh taste of this spaghetti sauce does not compare to store bought and is ready in roughly 10 minutes. Top this sauce on top of your favorite noodles and you will not be disappointed. Homemade spaghetti is a favorite in our house!
Health Benefits:
Spaghetti sauce is loaded with nutrients. Cooked tomatoes contain healing compounds. When heated, tomatoes have more phytonutrients, such as lycopene, and antioxidants than in its raw form. This makes cooked tomatoes a great addition for fighting cancers, improving heart health, and protecting the skin from excessive UV damage.
Want to make your spaghetti even healthier?
Try organ meat spaghetti. My boys love it. I’m not a fan of the gamey taste of organ meat, but find the spaghetti sauce to cover much of that strong aftertaste. Organ meat is an incredible way to get in many key nutrients that we lack in our diet today. Try adding ground organs in with regular grass fed ground beef, putting on a bed of noodles and pouring this spaghetti sauce over, the flavor is incredible! You may even be able to fool your family members into thinking they are not eating organs…sorry mother-in-law. 🙂 She downed this spaghetti and said how delicious it was before I told her what meat I had used, she wasn’t so sure after that, haha.
